THE BULLETIN CODICOLOGIQUE

The Bulletin Codicologique is the Bibliography of studies relating to medieval manuscripts, where between 550 and 700 reviews of recent articles or books are published annually. It was founded in 1959 by Martin Wittek. Since 1981, it has been published by the Centre International de Codicologie (CIC) ASBL (formerly Centre Belge de Codicologie, founded on 7 July 1967 by François Masai). The CIC is one of the contact groups of the Belgian Fund for Scientific Research (FNRS). It brings together dozens of international specialists from the academic world.
